"A bit of Cameroon & Me"

Carole's Birthday I know, I know it's been a while but first tell me what do you think of the new design of my blog? Windy day got my glass door broken This is what happens when you underestimate the power of the wind in Fall. My glass door is broken and my landlady thinks she can put this on me, no way: "Sorry Ma'am, this is nature's fault" Sunday chilling state of mind If only we could totally put that phone away to relax ohhh... It's snowing in Cape Town, so windy in Johannesburg and yet I've decided to "chop" that hair from my head and have no regrets at all since then :) How it all started I cut my hair (the first round) on November 2012 because after my two pregnancies my hair became a complete mess: "long, short, medium, kinky, dry, smooth..." I had all those kinds in one head and as it was not enough, my hair colour turned dark brown instead of remaining black. So, I got mad and remove all those mountains and "everests" and gave myself a good ride on equal plains with no valleys hehehe. Hold on! Above skies I left OR Tambo International Airport in South Africa in a hurry two weeks ago. I had to board my flight going to Jomo Kenyatta in Nairobi-Kenya at midnight and only realized that at - 40 minutes from the departure. Where was I?  Two hours before my husband and I started moving in all senses to catch my luggages, we were gently having a wonderful time watching "Skyfall" (such a good movie by the way ;) Didn't have time to have a proper goodbye episode that I was already in the air, exhausted to have beaten Usain Bolt sprint record and looking like a mushroom :) Resting in turbulences Here I am, watching the skies sometimes, sleeping the others or listening to music and praying to land safely in Douala International Airport from Kenya.  I barely ate on the plane because I didn't want to feel nauseous and beside what was served was not that yummy to my taste. Douala is the largest city in Cameroon and the economic powerhouse .  Home to Cameroon's largest port and its major international airport " Douala International Airport" , it is the commercial capital of the country. Consequently, it handles most of the country's major exports, such as oil , cocoa and coffee , timber, metals and fruits. "Bonanjo" I've spent 11 years of my life in Douala, especially in "Bonanjo" which is a residential area, not about all the crappy pictures that are listed on Google when you mention Douala. I'm still amazed of the fact that Cameroon, is so badly referenced when it comes to areas that are worth to discover. Would you like to see an image of Bonanjo?
