My Last Trip Souvenirs

Or should I say "Accessories" from here and elsewhere :)

This picture presents one of the products I couldn't leave behind, especially the one with the "Green, Red and Yellow" colours of the Cameroonian flag.

I searched it for a long time and finally got the chance to take it back with me here.

I don't quite remember their price but I will give you an estimation. These bangles costs 500 Cfa Francs each.

I'm not selling anything here guys, just sharing with you some of the beautiful things I keep as souvenirs from my travels and journeys (rather than wearing them really hahaha) and if I'm overloaded with jewelries I'll gladly offer them to my precious Mom :)

Elephant skin

This one was bought in a flea market in South Africa, actually a man's accessory but it can also fit a woman's wrist. This peace of elephant skin was sold at a higher price around Zar 200.

I'm strongly against poaching and animals abuse, and I hope that this elephant skin was obtained in proper conditions. My hubby bought it saying he didn't like removing an armlet before baths. As we all know, elephant skin is quite of a resistant material.

Necklaces were not forgotten!

Here you can see several pieces, from the one with the snail shell (my favourite) to the one with Africa, Cameroon shapes, they were sold each for 1500 Cfa Francs at the "Centre Artisanal de Tsinga" in Yaoundé.

Handicrafts from Cameroon

Some friends didn't approve me buying crafts there claiming they were expensive in that area. So we moved closer to "Casino" store not so far from "Avenue Kennedy" - still in the same town - and bought these.

I will present you more of the items we bought in my future posts. Truly  they were cheaper than the artisanal centre. The difference between those places is just that the first one have stalls, electricity.. while the other hasn't. Vendors just sells their products on displays.

Beautiful Rings

My last showcase of the day are these beautiful rings. This time, the one that was expensive is the one made of wood, bought in Cameroon. All the other ones, were bought in South Africa at around Zar 20 to 50.

Which one is the prettiest according to you? I like them all. Wish you were me? No? Hahaha just teasing you a little ;)

Willing to see more, that would be on one of my future articles. Don't worry, I'll keep you guys posted. I have created a new facebook account were you'll be able to be notified of all new posts. I'll be expecting you all there. Catch the link below ;)

Hope you're all taking good care of yourself wherever you are. Do not give up, never. Don't be afraid and keep moving forward, you know you can do it. Remember:

"You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream"

Peace!
